| IRE Excellent Performance National Examination 2009 |
The Mission provides IRE teachers to Government Primary and Secondary Schools within the close vicinity of BMMK centers. The Islamic Religious Education lessons are imparted in accordance to the national 8-4-4 curriculum. The national syllabus is integrated and harmonized with the Shia doctrines and religious lessons by our teachers.
The numbers of schools that benefit from this programme are: • Primary Schools 13 Reports have been received from the Administration and Education Boards of these schools are encouraging and demanding. IRE teachers in these schools greatly supplement in realization of improved academic results. The teachers’ stinted efforts have been noted during the results of the National Examinations KCPE and KCSE where it improves the schools’ mean results |  |
Br. Jaffer Achui, IRE teacher at Samburu Secondary School was honoured at Kinango District Prize Giving day function for attaining the best improved IRE results in the 2009 Kenya Certificate Secondary Education examinations in the District. The function was presided by Hon. Martha Karua and Hon. Gonzi Rai area MP & Assistant Minister for Lands. They recognized the efforts made by the teacher from the Mission and the students for producing the best improved results in the National KCSE examination for the year 2009. The teacher was presented with a trophy and a certificate of merit by the District Education Board. |  |
