Training for Economic Upliftment Module II Bahakanda Rural Centre In continuation of the training programme for Economic Upliftment held at Bahakanda Rural Centre the Second Module for the Rehema Women Group was held at Madrasah Hussainiyya Bahakanda from 10TH – 15TH May 2010. The Session started with recap on Module I training and defining the goals and objective of the workshop. This was followed by Religious sessions on Fiqh masail, Quran Tafsir and Tarekh 
The themes covered in this session were based on Business skills.

Achievements : It was encouraging to note the nos of attendance ranged between 40 - 57 participants daily, despite the fact that they had to go to the farms in the morning to plough their fields as the rains have set in. The number of registered members has increased from 18 nos during the Module 1 training to 34 nos. They have managed to open their bank account. Savings for members have increased. The group is now scheduled to undertake the Third module, Credit Training, from June 14th – 16th, 2010. |
