PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR FOR CENTRE IMAMS
| BMMK conducts Continuous Professional Development workshop for the Centre Imams, for effective tableegh activities. A five day workshop was conducted from 6th to 10th April 2010 for Centre Imams from all the 15 BMMK Centre and Humanitarian Welfare Group. The Imams had come with high expectations that they would acquire knowledge and get the opportunity to share their experiences like in previous workshops conducted by BMMK. |  |
The two external facilitators Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir and Sharrif Aidarus Mzee Mwenye alongwith the members from the QASD team of BMMK conducted this workshop.
| Shariff Aidarus Mzee Mwenye discussed on the topics related to Madressah Syllabus, New Methods of teaching, Quran and Lessons covered during the exams. |  |
 | On the other hand, Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir deliberated on the need for Akhlaq from the Centre Imams. Leaving no page unturned Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir dwealt on finer details of Islamic moral values and etiquettes like dressing code, religious co-existence, tolerance and finer details on fiqh masails. |
Members of the quality assurance department dealt with topical issues especially with regards to the BMMK syllabus. Emphasis was put on Qur’an and Hadith
At the end of the seminar the results for the End Year 2009 Madrasah Exams were announced. This year the Alhaj Ali Mohammed Jaffer Sharif Dewji rotating trophy was awarded to Madrasah Al Hujjah, Chengoni Centre, for the Best Performance in the year 2009.
