In continuation of the training programme for Economic Upliftment held at Dembwa Rural Centre from May 11th – 16th, 2009, the Second Module for the Jipe Moyo women group was held at Madrasah Amani, from June 22-27, 2009.

The Session started with recap on Module I training and defining the goals and objective of the workshop. This was followed by Religious sessions on Ahkaamul Mayyit

• Introduction to Book keeping
• Book keeping sample
• Wages & Dividends

• Project Identification
• Setting of work plan

Average 25 participants attended the training sessions each day.

Achievements :

1. Savings for members have increased.
2. Number of Group members has increased.
3. Members Empowered in Record Keeping

The group is now scheduled to undertake the Third module, Credit Training, from August 3rd – 6th, 2009.
