OBJECTIVES: • Recall historical background of tableegh by the Mission. • Analyse the tableegh programmes. • Strengthen tableegh operations. • Muballigh assessment.

PROGRAMME: i) Assessment: Qiratul Qur’an and Kayfiyatul Ibada ii) Discussion on results of (i). iii) Records: Syllabus, Schemes of work, Lesson Plan, Visitors book, Log book, Siraju Amaliyat, Nikah register. iv) Historical background of tableegh v) Qualities of Muballigh, Commitment to our task. vi) Identifying weakness / obstacles in tableegh vii) Discuss solutions to (vi). viii) Personal development in Deeni ta’lim. ix) Dedication towards tableegh Three weeks before the workshop programmes, in preparation for items (v) and (vi) above, meetings were held at all centres to identify the weakness / obstruction points in progress of tableegh and propose remedies. The purpose of this exercise is to empower the muballigh to be part of the planning programme and commit his / her involvement in implementation.
In addition following themes were deliberated in the relevant sections: • Masjid Imam / Incharge:
- Participatory management, - Committee guidelines, - Community involvement - Youth development and Women mobilization - Shia community data - Promoting Nikah, Maintaining nikah register, - Fiqh : Question / Answer • I.R.E.: - Qualities of a well conducted lesson - Professional records : Schemes of work, lesson plan - I.R.E. 8-4-4 Syllabus and tableegh - Areas for interpretation as per Shia faith, - Primary school inspection. • Madrasah: - Participatory management - Community involvement - Youth development and Women mobilization - Muballigh : Role Model • Pre-Primary: - Tips on teaching aids - Youth and Women mobilization - Pre-Primary and tableegh - Muballigha : Role Model RESOURCE PERSONS:

• Promote staff development programmes. • Gradual development of tableegh programmes and facilities of the Mission from the basic pre-primary level / madrasah level to the present community and projects was recognized and appreciated. • Major factor towards success and development is the commitment of muballigheen. • Continue promoting involvement of local community in projects at the centres. • Emphasis on strengthening Shia Ithna Asheri Muslim Community in the rural centres. • To regularly organize such workshops for different sections towards increasing tableegh progress. 30th June 2006 |
