Phase II – Credit Training Program
Bahakanda Rural Centre Rehema Women Group in Bahakanda Rural Centre was introduced to Credit Training Program, on successful completion of Training in Leadership, Business Skills and Savings under the Economic Upliftment Project. The three day training program was carried out from June 14th – 16th, 2010. The main objective of the course 1. Purpose of applying for loans
2. Requirements for consideration for loans
3. Amount of the loan applied for
4. Repayment of the loan
5. Accessing the three Cs: Capital, Character and Capacity.
6. Completing Loan Appraisal forms |
Achievements
• The Credit Training Module was very well understood
• Credit committee members were elected.
• New members have been registered in the group
• Group members are saving regularly hence the savings have increased considerably
• Religious sessions on were conducted

With this the Mission has completed all the targeted 8 centres that had been selected to receive this training. Regular follow ups will be conducted to monitor the progress of the group. Micro Finance loans are being awarded to individuals from the group.
