BMMK Celebrates Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra (a.s) / Sayyidah Zaynab (a.s) Day Print E-mail

Image A grand celebration was organized to mark the birthdays of the two great ladies by Zahra Women’s Group of Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya. The programme commenced at around 3.30 pm with the recitation of Hadithul Kisa by Sister Sakina Khatau followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran (Surah Dahr) by Sister Salma Shee

A brief welcome speech highlighting the activities of the Mission was made by Sis. Ismat Mawji.

Students from Zahra Madrasah (BMMK – Matuga Centre) recited Qasida on Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra (A.S) relating to her character and personalities.

 
 ImageSis Fahima F Ahmed deliberated on the life history and hardships faced by Sayyidah Zaynab (A.S) during the event of Karbala.
 
The students of Jaffery Academy Primary, Mombasa, recited Qasida on Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra (A.S) which narrated the merits and role that she played in Islam as a mother

Daarus Saada Group recited a Qasida on Ahlul Bayt (a.s)

 

Image Sis Zahra Habib and Sis Tahera Jaffer conducted the Quiz session based on Figh & Quran for the participants from Zahra Senior Students.

Sis Tahera Jaffer, briefly talked about the lifestyle and the character of Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra (A.S) comparing to our times now. 
 

 

Before concluding the programme,
Mrs Masumabai Somji, Chairlady of Zainabiya Society made a short speech in Kiswahili on rewards of reciting Salawat.   She commended the good work undertaken by Mrs Sakinabai Dhalla and her group. 


Vote of thanks was delivered by
Mrs Raziya Dewji followed by Dua and Ziyarat.

Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya would like to thank all the Participants and all those who attended the Programme.  Special thanks go to the Convener, Mrs Sakinabai Dhala and her team of dedicated teachers of Zahra Madrasah who wholeheartedly worked hard to make this programme a success.

Celebration at the BMMK Centres

Special functions were organized at BMMK Rural Centres to commemorate the Wiladat of Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra (a.s) and Sayyidah Zaynab (a.s).
