Progress Report – November 2009 Project: Prayer Hall at Samburu Secondary School Observations of the construction in Progress:  | 1. Foundation trench has been dug to a deeper depth due to soft ground so as to hold the structure.
2. Foundation casting has been done with steel and concrete mixture.
3. Steel structures for the four columns have been put in place.
4. Casting of hardcore compacting with quarry dust was done.
5. Salbum anti-termite was poured on the compacted hardcore casting.

6. Black polythene has been laid and concrete mixed with fibre mesh floor slab casting already done.
7. Damp proof course DPC was laid to construct/erect the block walls.
8. 10 courses of blocks erected in the front wall.
9. One course for all the remaining three walls erected all round.

 | 11. The steel ring beam structure is ready for placement.
12. All four walls and the partition wall will reach the ring beam level by end of this week.
13. Conduiting for electricity will be done for one power point in the front, four lights in the prayer hall and two lights in the wudhu area.
14. Construction of roof trusses and roofing sheets will start by next week | | Ladies Entrance |
