This occasion attracted a large participation of muslims from different sects, both males and females.

Qaswidas from Madrasah Amiirul Mu’minin, Matuga, was very instrumental in narrating with ease the holy lives of these noble personalities.

The attendants benefited a lot from the speeches by Ustadh Athman Swabir and Ustadh Muhammad Dumila.

Ustadh Athman Swabir in his lecture took the audience on a mental journey, narrating the lifestyle of Imam Husayn (a.s) and his eventual matyrdom by the tyrannical regime of Yezid bin Muawiya. He also talked briefly on the life of Imam Ali bin Husayn (a.s) famously known as Imam Ali Zaynul Abideen (a.s)

Image Ustadh Muhammad Dumila deliberated exclusively on the birth of Imam Muhammad al Mahdi (a.f). He gave evidence of the imam’s birth from various authentic books agreed upon by the two major sects. He urged muslims to learn more of the Imam of our time who he explained that he was currently in ghayb. Ustadh Dumila described the preceding events before the reappearance of the awaited savior – Imam Mahdi (a.s).

This two-hour programme ended at 5:25 pm with the serving of niyaz.
