Famine Relief - Update February 2009 |

| BEST MEAL IS ONE THAT IS SHARED In response to the declaration of Famine as National Emergency by the Kenya Government, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya launched an appeal for Famine relief. |  | 
| The positive support received from Mumineen has enabled Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya to distribute Maize to the affected families of BMMK Centers in the rural areas. |  | | | | Maize is the staple food of residents |  |  |  |
To date distribution of 26,901 kgs of Maize has been made to 1,181 families from 11 Centers in the rural areas.
This has enabled the Mission to bring relief to the lives of starving people and reduce the discomforts to people who struggle daily to make their two ends meet. BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF KENYA, would like to thank all the donors for their positive response to our Famine Relief Appeal. Our prayers to Allah (S.W.T) to reward all who have generously contributed towards this noble cause. |
