After regular follow ups on the Progress of Economic Upliftment Program for Suqaina Women Group in Burani Centre, the Second phase of this project - Credit Training Program was launched from January 13th – 15th, 2009.

During the three day training session the Women were introduced to Credit Training Module.  The course content was mainly on issues pertaining to loan, such as

• *  All about loan and its importance
• 
  *  Aims of taking loans
• 
  *  How to apply and acquire a loan
• 
  *  Requirements for consideration of loans
• 
  *  Procedures of loan repayment.
• 
  *  Effects if the loan funds are misused.

Achievement  :

• *  The Credit Training Program was successfully completed.
• 
  *  The baseline data has been collected enabling us to shortlist the loan applicants.
• 
  *  Guidelines have been set for the participant before availing the loans.
• 
  *  Credit committee, who will be involved in the selection process along with BMMK EUP personnel, has been formed.
• 
  *  On selection the individuals will be granted interest free loans by BMMK which have to be repaid on time.

	The support received in the form of training resulted in some of the women starting up small scale business like tailoring, selling firewood, fresh fruits and milk.
