This workshop was part of trip by the teachers and Pre-Primary Class students of Jaffery Nursery School to the Imam Hujjat Pre-Primary School, in Chengoni Rural Centre.
The Team from Jaffery Nursery School was welcomed with warmth and love by the children, staff and community of Chengoni Pre-Primary School. It was a happy and memorable moment to see Children from both the nursery schools sing rhymes for each other in both Kiswahili and English.
The Jaffery Nursery School distributed confectionaries, sweets and juice to all children.

At the end of the session the teachers of Jaffery Nursery School were requested to plant trees in the school compound.

It is gratifying to note that the funds for the gifts and resource materials were raised by the Jaffery Nursery School in a fund raising Eid Fair. .

This trip had been a memorable one for the children full of fun and excitement.

The Head teachers of Jaffery Nursery School, Mombasa commented:

“I am impressed to note that the BMMK teachers are well equipped with methodologies and are willing to learn more.  The children are taught with whatever little resources that is available within the local environment for which the teachers are doing a good job in improvisation. This trip has motivated my team at the Jaffery Nursery to Insha Allah undertake similar workshops during visits to other Rural Centres. In addition this is an opportunity for my students to sample school life in the rural settings”
