The Session started with the recap on Module I training. It was encouraging to note that the participants remembered the lessons taught to them in Module I.  The trainer continued by defining the goals and objective of the workshop. In this session the problems and difficulties of the group were tackled very well by the trainer. The participants also mentioned their expectation from the workshop i.e.

  • To learn how to manage own business
  • Improve our business
  • How to run a profitable business
  • How to handle customers
  • How to identify a profitable business, to manage their business cash.

The Module II sessions saw very active members with lots of interaction during the sessions.  As they had attended the Module I sessions they seem to have developed more confidence and were responding well.  They came up with ideas, suggestions and questions.  The number of participant was above 75, these included interested new members in the team.

Achievements :

  • The group members were very keen in starting their own business.
  • The participants were able to identify their own businesses and were eager to receive loans.
  • Group savings has increased from Ksh.10,405/. to Ksh.16,625/-.
