STAFF DEVELOPMENT Workshop FOR PRE-PRIMARY TEACHERSOF BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF KENYA

In continuation of Staff Development workshop for Pre-Primary Teachers of Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya., a One day Workshop was held on June 10^th, 2008 at the Bilal Hall.

The main objective of this workshop was to review development in the teaching skills and implementation of techniques in preparing Integrated Schemes of Work and promote Managerial skills.

 First Session of the day was set for practical / written test in Islamiyat in order to evaluate their potential to undertake additional duties in the Madrasah Section. 

Zahra Madrasah Teachers, lead by Mrs Taherabai Jaffer conducted practical assessment for Wudho, Tayamum, Adhan, Iqama and Swala.

The topics on Mode of performing Ibadah, Quran recitation, Tarikh, Fiqh and Aqaid.  Special emphasis was laid on Ghusl Mayyit were also conducted.

Similar workshops will I.A. be conducted on regular intervals to do reviews and assessments in order to build up the confidence of the participants and opportunity given to them to develop and improvise on their teaching skills.
